In accounting, English language is needed because the company will present financial statements in english, so we have to learn English well and correctly. Even before working in a company, the person must be in the English test. It shows how important the English language in the world of work.

May be compared with the tourism major, accounting not too need English language except when the employees have to meet with colleagues from abroad. But for tourism, they should be able to speak English well to provide information about Indonesia.
In my opinion, English is very important in our life. Because in school, college or work we can not be prevented from English. For the accounting, there are many programs in the office using the English language, if we do not understand, how we can finish the office work.

Actually, English is not difficult if we want to learn, but sometimes many people are lazy to do it. English for accounting is needed to finish the job such as preparing financial statements, audit, or that related of taxation. And almost all of the presentation done in English.

Almost every country is required to be able to speak English, because the language has become international language. If we are able to speak English very well, it is possible going to work in a foreign country which is certainly in terms of income would be more profitable.

When I compared with other foreign language, English language is easier to understand and learn because we receive English lessons start from childhood. And also there are so many English course in Indonesia. They help peoples for being great in English language.

According to me, when we have one question ‘How Important English in Accounting?’ I will answer that English is very importand in Accounting or in another majors and for our life. TOEFL can helps us to know how big our knowledge about English language. We will learn reading, writing, structure and listening. Don’t forget that NOW, peoples who can speak English or great in English will be wanted.
